We told you at the beginning of the summer that you can help define the new look and feel of the upcoming Debian GNU/Linux 9 "Stretch" operating system, due for release later this fall.

Two months after that first announcement, we reported again on the fact that the Debian Project needed your help to submit new, beautiful artwork for Debian GNU/Linux 9 "Stretch," as there was only a single contribution available, so the community wasn't able to vote for the best one.

It appears that during the months of August and September, more artists contributed their awesome works to "Debian Stretch Artwork" call for proposals, and now we're looking at a total of 12 official new artworks, along with two others that have been re-submitted by a third party, and not confirmed by the artist himself.

Debian GNU/Linux 9 "Stretch" artwork survey now live

The deadline has passed, and there's no room for more artwork proposals for Debian GNU/Linux 9 "Stretch," which means that it's time for the community to vote and select the best one for inclusion by default in the upcoming operating system. Niels Thykier has created a survey for the Stretch artwork, and you can cast your vote right now.

All you have to do is take a closer look first at the submitted proposals, choose the one or multiple ones that you think are the most suitable for Debian GNU/Linux 9 "Stretch" and drag them from right to left in order of importance. That's all!

We think that softWaves by Juliette Taka Belin, Infinite by Ozgu Ozden, and Sharp by Fernando Magalhães are the most suitable for a respectable operating system like Debian, but there are some other great works in there, so vote your favorite and let's make Debian GNU/Linux 9 "Stretch" a beautiful release.
