Yes, in case you didn't know, CPU Wars has a sequel! And, yes there is an original CPU Wars that was made in 2011 by a bunch of guys during a coffee break.

CPU Wars 1.0 managed to gather enough money on Kickstarter and reached enough popularity during its existence to actually require a sequel. And here it is: CPU Wars 2.0. It basically turned fantasy creatures into microprocessors of all shapes and sizes claiming with no small degree of amusement that you "only have to put a bunch of tech geeks in a room together and ask them their favorite CPU and a battle will shortly begin."

Just like any game that has machines constructed by human beings with real specs and physical limitations, CPUs have their bonuses and weaknesses when compared to other microprocessors, and thus a fair "competition" can begin among CPU enthusiasts.

Being well received by tech lovers around the world, its creator started CPU Wars 2.0 which includes 30 new cards featuring server CPUs from the past 30 years! The original microprocessors were from Intel, Motorola and IBM and were mainly those that had the biggest impact on the industry.

Also with the new/old CPUs come booster cards that will represent enhancements, one player can add to its CPUs like overclocking and cooling solutions. Combining the original CPU Wars with CPU Wars 2.0, you can have an enriched roster of 60 cards that can be shared among four players

CPU Wars 2.0 can now be bought from the creator's site for $13 (€11).
