14 DAY TRIAL // Rumor has it that former “Friends” star Courteney Cox has been getting stuff done on her face for a very long time, starting with Botox back when the sitcom was still on the air on NBC. These days, she’s hardly recognizable anymore, as she’s getting even more work in preparation for her wedding this winter.
Cox got engaged to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid in June 2014 and they will be tying the knot at the end of the year. To make sure she looks her best for the big day, the actress has been spending a fortune on plastic surgery, Star Magazine reports.
Cox is hardly recognizable anymore

She’s gotten even more injections in recent weeks, inside sources confirm for the publication. Even though she hardly looks like herself anymore and she can barely move her face, she wants even more work, including a new procedure that will act as a facelift.
According to the report, Cox was spotted out for lunch in Beverly Hills a short while ago, and her face was so puffed and immobile that she was having trouble eating her salad. She is believed to have invested $100,000 (€89,145) in her pre-wedding beauty preparations.
“It’s pretty clear that she’s gone overboard - and ironically, she looks older than if she’d just stopped at a little bit of Botox,” says one source. “One of Hollywood’s hottest surgeries at the moment is the contour thread lift, and Courteney wants it right away. Threads are inserted into the face to create a lift. The recovery time is minimal, and you can see results immediately.”
Friends are worried she might go overboard
Even Cox’s friends are starting to worry that she lost all sense of reality in terms of the stuff she keeps doing to her face, the report continues. Apparently, a very common side-effect with this contour thread lift is the so-called “Joker smile,” which is a tell-tale sign of the procedure.
Cox isn’t worried about it, but her friends are - and they’re trying to talk her out of it, telling her she’s already had enough stuff done.
As per the same report, not even her husband-to-be has an idea of how badly things have gotten out of control, or he would have probably tried to put an end to them. “She’ll say she’s having a girl’s weekend away, but she’s really having work done,” the insider explains.
