Coship, the Japanese company known for launching the Moly X1 smartphone with Windows 10 Mobile, has just announced the upcoming availability of yet another handset powered by Microsoft’s mobile operating system.

The new Moly PcPhone W6 is a huge phablet that will be available for purchase later this year for around $400 outright. Although the device will be initially launched in Japan, there’s a high chance that customers in the United States and other countries will be able to get it as well.

Aside from the fact that Moly PcPhone W6 ships with Windows 10 Mobile right out of the box, Coship has also confirmed the phablet comes with support for Continuum, which should allow users to use it like a PC when connected to large screen monitor.

Specs-wise, Moly PcPhone W6 seems like a decent mid-range smartphone thanks to an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, paired with an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 200GB via microSD card slot.

A huge screen doubled by a massive battery

But the first thing customers will notice is the large screen. Moly PcPhone W6 boasts a massive 6-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

On the back, Moly PcPhone W6 packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash, and video recording, while on the front there’s a secondary 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Another strong point of the Japanese smartphone is the large 3,900 mAh battery, which should provide a decent continuous usage time. In fact, Coship claims the handset’s battery could last up to 400 hours in standby or up to 16 hours of talk time.

Coship Moly PcPhone W6 comes with 4G LTE and dual-SIM support, but also offers other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB Type-C port, NFC (Near Field Communication), and GPS with AGPS.

If you’re wondering how large a 6-inch smartphone really is, then you should know Coship Moly PCPhone W6 measures 160 x 82.3 x 7.9mm and weighs 176g (battery included).
