Just as expected, Apple has started sending out invites for a September 12 event at the company’s new Cupertino campus, with a completely new generation of products expected to see daylight at the venue.

The iPhone 8 will be the big star of the show, as it celebrates the 10th anniversary of the iPhone and is projected to come with a long series of improvements, including an OLED screen with no bezels, wireless charging, fast charging, facial recognition, a glass body, and gesture support to compensate for the removable of the Home button.

In addition to the iPhone 8, however, Apple prepares the unveiling of several other products, including the iPhone 7s and the iPhone 7s Plus.

Both models would feature more subtle upgrades as compared to the iPhone 8 and will maintain the existing look of the phone, with the same bezels and a Home button. Instead, the new iPhones will get wireless charging, as Apple is very likely to equip the two devices with a glass body as well.

New Apple Watch and Apple TV

A third-generation Apple Watch is also projected to see daylight on September 12, and leaks have indicated that it could come with LTE support, which would basically make it fully independent from the iPhone. This means the Apple Watch could be able to start calls on its own, without the need for an active connection to an iPhone.

And last but not least, a 4K Apple TV could also be introduced at Apple’s mid-September event, alongside the latest versions of iOS, watchOS, and tvOS.

Without a doubt, the September 12 venue will be one eagerly anticipated event, especially with all the hype around the iPhone 8. The streaming will start at 10 am PT (5 PM GMT) and will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater, in the new Apple Park. This is the first time Apple holds an event at its new headquarters.
