The first official trailer for Warner Bros.’ “Suicide Squad,” which comes out in the summer of 2016 after “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” premiered at San Diego Comic-Con 2015 over the weekend, on the Warner Bros. panel.

Though it has not yet been released to the general public, a low-quality version of it has leaked online, and you can see it in full below.

The mere fact that Warners didn’t pull it down could be seen as indication that someone in charge wants it online. Cell phone captures of this kind always come out of Comic-Con, especially with highly publicized films, but they don’t last online for longer than a few hours.

Those that do make it longer do so because they’re supposed to be online, perhaps as a tool to gauge audience interest.

“Suicide Squad,” much like “Batman V. Superman,” with which it has in common Ben Affleck’s Batman, who’s also seen in this first trailer, didn’t exactly get off on the right foot: though fans were thrilled to have Jared Leto cast as The Joker, the first official photo of the character prompted quite the online backlash.

Now, we can see Leto in motion as the iconic villain. He makes an appearance towards the end, and though brief, it may be enough to convince you that he’ll be doing an awesome job. Fans and members of the media in audience at the screening were clearly ecstatic, based on their loud cheers.

“Suicide Squad” also stars Margot Robbie and Will Smith, and features some of the most famous villains in the DC Comics universe. It’s directed by David Ayer.
