Coco Austin and her husband of 15 years, rapper and actor Ice T, are having a baby. News of this broke online the other day, seemingly without their approval, but they have since confirmed it. However, for all the “juicy” details, you have to wait until August 3, when their new talk show premieres.

Coco, a famous glamor model, actress and entrepreneur, has been very vocal about wanting to start a family with Ice T, but he always came across as against it. He is 57 years old today and he already has 2 children from previous relationships, and even a 20-year-old grandson.

Coco and Ice confirm the happy news on social media

As you can see in the tweets below, both Coco and Ice T have confirmed the happy news on their social media accounts, with Coco also including a photo of the “big reveal,” i.e. the moment she showed off her tiny baby bump during a taping for her and Ice’s new talk show.

It’s called Ice & Coco Talk Show and will premiere on Fox on August 3, and both stars assure fans that they will be getting more details then on the pregnancy, including the gender of the baby, how it was conceived and how far Coco is.

Or, as she puts it, the “juicy” details will be revealed then. The taping took place last Friday, on July 24, which would explain why the news broke on Monday, after it had leaked to most major celebrity publications.

Making bank on the new baby

Coco and Ice called in on FOX 5’s Good Day New York after the Twitter confirmations, to gush about the latest development in their life as a couple.

“I've been pregnant for a while, but we've been holding it between us for quite some time. We just finally released it this past Friday on our talk show and it was a really awesome moment,” Coco says. “I cried. I didn't think I was going to actually cry, but it was a nice feeling to finally know that the world knows and I don't have to hide it anymore. It actually shocked us how it happened so easily.”

She says she discusses the pregnancy in great detail on the talk show premiere, at which point Ice chimes in to say that fans “will have to tune in” if they want to find out more about it.

After all, if you’re in showbiz and especially in reality television, there’s little point to being pregnant if you can’t bank on every aspect of it.
