The development team at Colossal Order and publisher Paradox Interactive are delivering a new trailer for the coming After Dark expansion for Cities: Skylines, which is designed to add a new day and night cycle to the city simulator.

Gamers who get the new content will be able to explore a suite of new options for nighttime gameplay, including new buildings and a new model when it comes to traffic flow for the city.

After Dark asks gamers whether they are interested in creating entertainment areas while also boosting their crime fighting capabilities to make their city more lively at night or whether they are more focused on improving order and efficiency for daytime periods.

Colossal Order is also introducing more options for beach front properties, designed to make it more interesting to create and develop areas at the edge of the water.

When the expansion arrives, the core game will also get a free patch with tweaks and fixes, although a full list has not yet been offered by the development team.

Cities: Skylines - After Dark will be delivered via digital distribution services on the PC on September 24.

Colossal Order has big long-term plans for the title and says that it is also aiming to make it easier for the community to introduce new content and ideas to the title using mods.
