A "manly" GTX 950 brought to GTX 960 levels of performance

Manli Technology Group has recently announced its seriously overclocked mid-entry level Manli GeForce GTX 950 graphics card.

Featuring a total of 768 CUDA cores and 2GB of GDDR5 integrated memory, the new Manli custom-made graphics card is basically a stock GTX 950 with a stock frequency of 1038 MHz "manhandled" to a GTX 960-level frequency of 1216 MHz. Yes, this is the "manli" version of the GTX 950, which the company with the same name didn't refrain from showing off.

The new card has the same 6610 MHz memory clock as most other GTX 950 cards, but it can provide three times the performance of the older-generation GeForce GTX 650 graphics card. To bring this card's processing power to GTX 960 levels, the card is equipped with the Manli TurboEngine software that basically cools the card enough to churn out that extra GPU performance.

A good, budget-friendly GTX 960 replacement

Although you'd imagine that some extra STRIX-level fans would be required for this card to be kept cool, in fact it features one single black fan and an enhanced aluminum heatsink to provide better cooling with higher C/P ratio compared to previous-generation cards. The new card can provide an output of true 4K/60Hz through its HDMI 2.0 port and DisplayPort 1.2 offering support for the increasingly popular H.265 4K video decoder.

Power-wise, the new card draws its juice through a single 6-pin PCI Express connector and it needs a minimum of 350W or greater power supply.

Although no price availability or date when it should hit the market has been made public, it's clear that it will be a favorite among budget gamers since it can provide performance levels well over its class. We guess that prices, when they will be available, will be closer to GTX 960 ones, offering a good, intermediary graphics solution between the two mid-entry cards, the GTX 950 and GTX 960.
