Aperture Wrench is definitely coming from the future

Mankind always found ways to fasten loose bolts. From wrenches and socket sets to our very own hands, we always found a solution and never gave up when one crazy nut had to be removed.

Now, however, we don't have to worry anymore, as our vast list of options just got a little longer and smarter! Being a creation of Seattle-based designer Jordan Steranka, the new Aperture Wrench basically uses the same system as camera lenses to make a six-sided hole larger or smaller depending on the bolt or nut you have to deal with.

In case you're working in darkness, there is also a small light to see what you're trying to unscrew.

Looking highly futuristic, this new wrench basically shrinks your entire wrench set to one single piece. However, it's a quite expensive two-part solution, but you won't have to walk around with an entire set of tools in case need arises.

One thing we find a bit confusing is the Light Power Button that looks like it would power the entire wrench instead of only the small light underneath it.

The Aperture Wrench, named after the lens aperture of a camera photo, ultimately reduces the time and effort to screw and tighten a bolt without needing extra tools to do it. It has a very nice design that can fit any of your available toolkits. Additionally, it could work great as a prop in any futuristic movie you'd be happening to film in the future.
