We knew BlackBerry would launch the PRIV at major carriers in the United States like T-Mobile and Verizon, but there was no rumor regarding Sprint.

During its press event at CES 2016 trade fair, BlackBerry announced that aside from AT&T, three more US carriers will offer the PRIV in the coming months: Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

The first to get the BlackBerry PRIV is T-Mobile, as customers will be able to pick this one up on January 26. The Canadian company also confirmed that Verizon customers could purchase the PRIV some time “by the end of March.”

Although BlackBerry announced its first Android smartphone would arrive at Sprint, it did not disclose any details on when the device would go on sale, so we must wait for the carrier to make it official.

Also, BlackBerry did not share any details on prices, which means each carrier will announce how much the PRIV will cost and when exactly customers will be able to get it.

The PRIV was available in just a few countries until a few weeks ago, but beginning this month the Canadian company started the global rollout of the smartphone.

In the meantime, more European countries get the smartphone

Earlier this week, BlackBerry PRIV was launched in more European countries such as Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands. Germany got the Android smartphone last week, and more countries are likely to follow soon.

BlackBerry PRIV prices in Europe have been set at around €750 or €800 outright, so it's pretty expensive even though it doesn't come with the most powerful hardware available on the market.

In other news, BlackBerry PRIV has been recently introduced at Vodafone UK, so those who want the company's first Android smartphone can get it from this carrier as well.
