14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung is rumored to unveil the Galaxy Note 7 on August 2, 2016, and it seems that information on the upcoming handset continues to surface online. The latest shows a set of cases coming in multiple colors and pointing to a curved display for the smartphone.
Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 is definitely one of the most anticipated devices to be released in the next few months, together with the iPhone 7. Its name was confirmed by multiple leaks, as Samsung is trying to bring the Note 7 moniker in line with the Galaxy S7 series.
In addition, some rumors have suggested that a flat and dual-edge variant of the phone will be available, and the new information seems to point to just this, or at least to the curved display variant.
The cases come in four different colors
Case maker Olixar has posted on MobileFun four case models for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, each in a different color. The cases appear to be made for a curved display, which means that they are for the dual-edge variant.
The four cases come in Blue Leather, Carbon Fibre Black, Red Leather and Carbon Fibre Gold colors. They're available for pre-order for the price of $19.99 each.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is rumored to come with a 5.7- or 5.8-inch QHD curved Super AMOLED display and pack octa-core Exynos 8893 or Snapdragon 821 processor, depending on the region. It is likely to feature a 4,000mAh or 3,600mAh battery, but it's quite unclear at this point.
The smartphone should also offer USB Type-C port and run Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with an updated version of TouchWiz on top. Galaxy Note 7 should have an iris scanner and IP 68 certification. Rear camera capacity is set to reach 12MP, with a 5MP unit expected to be featured on the front. The smartphone should debut on August 2, during an event scheduled in New York.
