LG’s G6 will be an exciting smartphone, hopefully a true competitor to other flagships that will be announced this year. While some of the phone’s specs were teased by LG itself, when it comes to its design, we’re left with some renders that have recently leaked online.

The latest report comes from BGR, which came across renders posted by case maker Ghostek showing some design elements for the new phone. Renders have been leaking for some time now, and the latest are quite clear and undoubtedly reveal the dual-camera setup on the back.

Such a rear camera setup isn’t surprising, considering that many flagships have featured two camera sensors on the back and Huawei’s P10, set to be announced on the same day, will also have such a setup. Camera capacity and features on the G6 are currently unknown.

Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and Google Assistant

Although the G6 is inside the Ghostek case, the images do show that the phone will be quite thin and the dual-camera setup won’t protrude from the back panel, as it does on some phones. The fingerprint scanner is visible on the back, below the camera, while the phone is said to come with waterproof capabilities, but it’s uncertain which IP certification it will feature.

Moreover, the smartphone appears to come with an all-metal body and a different design compared to the G5, since LG did decide to ditch the modular characteristic on the new phone. Its display is said to reach 5.7 inches with QHD pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

It might run the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB of RAM. USB Type-C port may be featured on the phone and the G6 could run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

A recent report said that LG might incorporate Google Assistant in the new phone and the price tag might be similar to that of the G5, about $600. All will be revealed on February 26, when LG will officially announce the new phone.
