Pre-orders will start tomorrow, on March 30

Samsung has just announced its latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ today, together with a bundle of accessories, including the DeX Station. The company also announced pricing and availability for the two phones.

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be offered in multiple color options, including Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Arctic Silver, Coral Blue, and Maple Gold.

Samsung’s newest flagship will be available for pre-order starting March 30 in the US, while Europeans in some countries can go ahead and pre-order their device starting today. The phone is set to hit shelves on April 21.

US and UK carriers already announced Galaxy S8 pricing

US carrier Verizon stated that pre-orders would start on March 30 and customers would also get a free Gear VR with controller and Oculus content pack. They can choose $99 “Experience Box” with Gear VR and Controller, Harman Kardon headphones, and 256GB microSD card, instead. The Galaxy S8 retails for $720, or $30 per month for 24 months, while the S8+ goes for $840 or $35 for 24 months.

Pre-orders at AT&T will start on the same day, but the full retail price will be higher at $750, with the option to get the Galaxy S8 for $25 per month for 30 months or $31.25 per month for 24 months. The S8+ retails for $850, or $28.34 per month for 30 months or $35.42 for 24 months. AT&T is offering a free Gear VR with Controller and Oculus content pack.

T-Mobile has the same retail prices for the Galaxy S8 and S8+, but offers T-Mobile @Work customers a free DeX desktop dock with in-store preorder. BestBuy is offering customers $100 if they pre-order the Galaxy S8 or S8+ from the retailer.

In the UK, pre-orders will start today and end on April 19 at many operators and retailers, including EE, Sky Mobile, and Tesco Mobile. The Galaxy S8 costs £689 ($855) in the UK, while the Galaxy S8+ can be purchased for £779 ($967) and will be available only in Midnight Black and Orchid Grey, with the Arctic Silver version arriving later. The new AKG headphones carry a price tag of $99.
