Marvel unveiled the first trailer for the May 2016 release “Captain America: Civil War” at the Disney D23 Expo 2015, which took place a couple of weeks ago. Some footage from said trailer has found its way online, if you care for a taste of what’s coming.

About 17 seconds of the full trailer have leaked. The video is without audio and of very poor quality, but it’s enough to offer fans a teaser of one of the most anticipated releases of next year, which will be pitting the Avengers against each other.

You can see the footage in the video below.

Despite earlier reports that “Civil War” would also include Black Panther and the new Spider-Man, I can’t see them in the leaked footage. However, we get a good look at Crossbones in action, as he’s going at it with Captain America; we see former pals Black Widow and Hawkeye locked in a fierce battle, and we get a glimpse of what looks like a major confrontation between the 2 opposing camps.

“Civil War” will see Iron Man and Captain America become rivals, thus continuing the conflict that started in this year’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” All the other Avengers, including new addition Scarlet Witch, will be choosing sides, which will make them more vulnerable when an even more dangerous villain appears.

“Captain America: Civil War” is directed by the Russo brothers and has finished production.
