14 DAY TRIAL // Taylor Swift may have been unlucky in love until now, but she knows a good thing when she sees one. And her boyfriend of under 5 months Calvin Harris is it, a new report claims.
Sources close to the couple reveal for Hollywood Life that Harris is already looking to buy a super expensive and super impressive diamond ring with which to propose to Taylor. The only hold-up is finding the right place to go down on one knee: apparently, he wants a very romantic destination and won’t settle for anything but the best.
This is true love, they’re convinced
As noted above, Taylor and Calvin have been a couple for less than half a year, but then again, she was never the kind not to rush in a relationship. They’re convinced that their love is real, the kind that would last them a lifetime, and they’re already talking about taking it to the next stage.
“Even though they haven’t been together that long if he did ask her tomorrow she’d say yes, she’s just so happy with him,” says a spy. “Taylor doesn’t think it’s a sure thing, she’s not that cocky, but she has a really good feeling that they will end up together.”
Another spy says that Harris is looking into buying a “chunky” ring for Taylor because he knows that’s how she likes them. He’s willing to spend a fortune for it, but not less than $500,000 (€451,180). Only the best for his girl!
As for possible locations to propose to her, word online has it that he’s thinking of Italy or France, because Taylor considers certain cities in these countries as the most romantic destinations possible.
A new breakup anthem in the making
For years, Taylor Swift has poured all her heartbreak from failed romances into music hits, writing one breakup anthem after another. With many of her relationships not making it past the 3-month mark, she had a lot of material to draw on, so no wonder that, when she stepped out with a new man, celebrity bloggers would joke that she was dating the subject of her next breakup song.
However, since dating (and breaking up with) Harry Styles of One Direction, Taylor has been keeping a very low profile as far as her love life goes.
She even said in some interviews that she was done with being mocked online and that she would focus on her female friendships from then on.
That only lasted a few months, until she and Harris met, clicked and started dating. With reports now saying they’re already talking marriage, many believe a breakup is imminent because of Taylor’s reputation as the clingy, needy one who’s always rushing to take things to the next stage.
