14 DAY TRIAL // A PC dedicated open Beta will start on September 29 for Call of Duty: WW2, the latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise.
We have to remember that Call of Duty started its life on the PC, but it’s slowly moved to consoles despite the limited control scheme. Furthermore, Activision lost any interest in providing some basic features, such as dedicated servers for the PC platforms, for example.
In any case, it seems that things are picking up for PC players as they are about to receive a dedicated open Beta for Call of Duty: WW2, on Steam. It’s great news for users since they will be able to check the game out, stress test the servers before the launch, and see if they have the hardware to play it, although it doesn’t have major requirements.
Preload and wait for launch
Activision and Sledgehammer Games have been light on details, such as the exact hour, but we do know that it’s going to run from September 29 through October 3, so it’s more than enough time to get destroyed by people who have more time and that skill than the rest of us.
As for the system requirements, it looks like Call of Duty: WW2 is well optimized, and it doesn’t have high system requirements. Granted, the developers only released the minimum requirements, but it should be more than enough.
