Many gamers are unable to get access to the testing phase

Today is supposed to be the day when gamers on both the Xbox One and the PC get access to the multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, but there are plenty of gamers who are at the moment unable to redeem their code for the Microsoft home console and see what kind of title Treyarch has created.

The Xbox status page has recently acknowledged the issue after the development team has also mentioned it in a few Twitter messages.

It seems that both Treyarch and Microsoft are working to make sure that beta codes for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on the Xbox One are easily redeemed, but it is unclear when the solution will be delivered.

The Xbox status page adds, "Are you having issues redeeming Beta 5×5 tokens for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3? That’s no good. But rest assured our team is assembled, and we’re hard at work trying to get this fixed. Thanks for your patience while we work. We’ll update you on our progress when we know more."

The most frustrating thing is that the issue is related to codes rather than to the actual gameplay included in the first-person shooter.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is influenced by feedback coming from gamers

Treyarch has recently thanked all those who took part in the testing phase on the PlayStation 4, explaining that information gathered will be used to improve the Day 1 experience for the shooter.

During the multiplayer beta, the studio delivered a new map and a new mode for the game, while also introducing an increased level cap before it prolonged the action for one more day.

It's unclear whether Treyarch will do the same on the Xbox One and the PC, but some bonuses are almost impossible to avoid given the current issues.

The biggest changes in the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 are linked to the Specialist system, which introduces characters with unique abilities and weapons, and to the new movement system, which allows gamers to move across levels faster and catch their enemies unaware.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be out on November 6 on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, and a Legacy version of the title will be delivered for older home consoles.

Update: A quick and easy workaround for Black Ops 3's beta redemption issues is available.
