The development team at Treyarch and publisher Activision know that the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is about one month away, and that means it's the perfect time to deliver a new video for the first-person shooter that is designed to provide us with a range of new details linked to the single-player campaign.

The footage features appearances from Mark Lamia, the leader of the team working on the title, Craig Houston, the leading writer, and Jason Blundell, the campaign game director.

There are also plenty of gameplay and cinematic sequences taken from the campaign of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 that gamers have not seen before.

The game seems to feature more narrative elements than previous titles in the series did, including a lot of text that gamers will be able to read in order to get more context for their actions.

Treyarch has also repeatedly promised more emotional elements in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and more occasions for gamers to contemplate the line between tech advances and dehumanization of the soldiers that will be involved in the conflicts of the future.

The story will also be connected with the events that took place in previous titles in the continuity, which the development team explained in a previous video.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is designed to deliver variety

Treyarch wants as many gamers as possible to try out the single-player and the set pieces they have created, but they know that the long-term prospects of the shooter are connected to the multiplayer.

For those who want a cooperative experience, the company is offering Shadows of Evil, which takes gamers to a noir version of the '40s and allows them to choose from four characters who need to work together to take out capable undead hordes.

When it comes to competitive action, the shooter will introduce a wide range of new movement options for characters and also improves the customization options for characters while also adding the all-new Specialists.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be offered on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and the PC, and the campaign that was the subject of this article will not be offered on the older Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

The game will be offered worldwide on November 6.
