All PS4 owners can now access the Black Ops 3 beta

After releasing several updates with different improvements and new elements, Treyarch confirms on its Twitter that it's no longer restricting access to the Black Ops 3 beta on PS4.

This means that all owners of Sony's console will be able to enter and play the multiplayer test phase for Black Ops 3 by downloading it from the PlayStation Store via the PlayStation Network.

Previously, access was obtained by entering a code that was given out to those who pre-ordered the game as well as through several promotional campaigns.

Black Ops 3's multiplayer beta is set to kick off on the PC and Xbox One platforms next week. It's expected that a similar period will await owners of those two devices, first being available only to those with codes and then being opened up to everyone so that the dedicated servers can be undergo stress tests.

The final version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is scheduled to debut on November 3 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, but also for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms. Unfortunately for owners of the last-gen consoles, there won't be a beta stage on those devices.
