Developer Treyarch and publisher Activision might be less than one month away from the launch date of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, but the two companies still have plenty of details about the first-person shooter to share with the community.

A new video shows off the Control Cybercore set of powers that gamers will be able to use in the single-player section of the title, designed to give them ways to get access to robotic weapons that enemies use and turn them against their owners.

Protocol Override is designed to re-program robots to attack new targets for a short period of time, and gamers can also use Remote Hijack to take control of more powerful vehicles and pilot them from a distance.

Previously Treyarch revealed a Chaos Cybercore set of powers, which gamers can use in order to sow confusion among enemies while they launch their assault.

The single-player mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 takes place in 2065 and the developers have released a trailer that offers a little more details about the initial setups.

Treyarch has promised that the narrative will offer an in-depth look at how tech advances change the nature of humanity.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 also features a complex multiplayer experience

A lot of gamers will play the single-player initially, but in the long term, most will move to the multiplayer, either the cooperative or the competitive modes.

Shadows of Evil is a campaign which allows four players to work together in order to take out a variety of undead enemies and bosses in a new version of the 1940s with some noir touches.

The competitive element of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is designed with a new movement system and a Specialist feature that will offer a more dynamic experience.

Treyarch and Activision have also said that they are aiming to make the game eSports-friendly.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be launched on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and older home consoles, although these versions of the shooter do not include the single-player campaign because of tech limitations of the platforms.
