Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is a big enough video game to attract top voice talent for many of the game modes, and for the single-player campaign, the development team at Treyarch has managed to convince a number of known TV performers to add some emotion to its narrative.

According to a report on Entertainment Weekly, Christopher Meloni, known from the Special Victims Unit spin-off from Law & Order, will portray John Taylor, who is a veteran of the Special Forces who has risen to the rank of Commander and is able to gain the trust of those who work for him, although he does not use that power for good at all times.

Katee Sackhoff, who played a main character in Battlestar Galactica, will be Sarah Hall in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, chosen for Special Forces training because she was top of her class on all aptitude tests.

Tony Amendola will play Dr. Yousef Salim, Sean Douglas becomes Jacob Hendricks, Rachel Kimsey is Rachel Kane, while Ben Browder and Abby Brammell are also involved in the voice work.

The development team at Treyarch has already announced that in the Shadows of Evil cooperative mode of the shooter, the voices of characters will be offered by Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Neal McDonough, and Ron Perlman.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 aims to deliver a complex single-player story

The company has recently started to deliver reveals about the narrative that it plans to explore, including a trailer that shows how the warfare of the future will be dominated by Special Forces infantry and losses some of its humanity in order to become more deadly.

The development team at Treyarch and publisher Activision have also turned the official Twitter feed of the series into one which represents a fake news agency that portrays events that will take place in 2065 in Singapore.

Many people were fooled by the change and believed that the story linked to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was real.

More information about the narrative and the gameplay will be offered in the coming weeks.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be offered on November 6 on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, and older home consoles will get a version of the shooter that does not include the single-player campaign and the top voice cast.
