Yet another application exclusively available for the owners of Nokia Lumia smartphones out there has been updated recently, namely call+SMS filter.

At the moment, the software can be downloaded as version, with various general fixes and improvements included in the latest release.

For those out of the loop, we should note that call+SMS filter was designed to provide users with the possibility to easily block unwanted calls.

The Windows Phone 8 app will need access to users’ call and messaging history and provides an easy to use experience, Nokia notes.

“New to Windows Phone and designed by Nokia, this invaluable setting blocks unwanted calls and SMS. And it's available only on Nokia Lumia phones,” the application’s description reads.

“This app sits within your phone settings and integrates seamlessly with your call history and messaging. It's easy to set up and straightforward to use.”

With this software loaded on their devices, users will be able to easily set up their own blocked numbers list, so that all incoming calls and SMS messaging coming from them are blocked immediately.

Moreover, it will also enable users to easily add more numbers to the list, straight from the Call History and Messaging applications. At the same time, the software will display the number of blocked calls and SMS from a Live Tile.

The features list of the application also unveils that incoming text messages can also be blocked based on a series of system keywords.

Users will be able to update these keywords both manually and automatically, and also to find the registered origin of a particular number, Nokia also notes in the application’s description.

Overall, this does look like a great application, especially when it comes to privacy concerns, yet only owners of Windows Phone 8-based Nokia Lumia devices can enjoy its functionality.
