A brand new gameplay video concerning Claptrap, one of the playable characters in the upcoming Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, has just been released, showcasing the main action skill of the pint-sized robot, as well as his many other abilities.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, like its name suggests, acts as a sort of interlude, filling in the blanks between the previously released Borderlands 1 and Borderlands 2. The action takes place on Pandora's moon and chronicles the rise to power of Handsome Jack, the main antagonist of the last game.

Quite a lot of new characters are included but the most intriguing is Claptrap, the clunky robot from the previous games, which in this one has been promoted to the rank of Vault Hunter, getting an action skill and becoming a playable class.

After sharing some details over the last few months, The Pre-Sequel developer 2K Australia, alongside Gearbox Software and 2K Games, have just released a gameplay video focusing completely on Claptrap.

As you can see below, the video shows not just footage from the game but also has commentary from one of the game's developers, who goes through Claptrap's action skill, which is called VaultHunter.exe, and his many skills that augment it.

The 11-minute video is quite impressive so check it out below and look forward to the release of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on October 14, in North America, and October 17, in Europe, for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
