14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung has just announced the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge will be available in the United States beginning November 1. In addition, the smartphone will be launched in “selected markets” around the world.
Furthermore, Samsung notes that availability details will be announced by each market's carrier and regional Samsung offices. Basically, this means that each carrier will announce when the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge will be available for purchase.
In countries where carriers won't offer the smartphone, it will be Samsung's own office that will confirm the availability of the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge.
In the meantime, customers in the United States will be able to order the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge beginning today. However, major carriers in the country have yet to announce the phone's availability.
We know for sure that the device will arrive at Verizon since a picture of the carrier-branded Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge leaked earlier this month.
Other operators in the U.S. are likely to offer the smartphone as well, so if you're looking to pick this one up, you'll have to wait a few more days for more announcements.
Samsung's announcement contains some details about the phone's Blue Coral color and how it came to be. The handset maker “applied a contrasting gold tone hue to the phone's metallic frame.” The final result is the two-toned combination that we see in the press pictures.
The Galaxy S7 edge is already available on the market in many other colors, including Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl, Silver Titanium, and Pink Gold.
We expect the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge to be among the best-selling smartphones in the United States, since the Galaxy Note 7 discontinuation left a void that can only be filled by another flagship smartphone.
Samsung fans who remain loyal to the South Korean company will most likely pick this one up instead of the Note 7.
