US-based company BLU Products has just launched yet another budget-friendly Android smartphone with more than decent specs for the price.

In fact, according to the OEM, the BLU Life One X is “the best affordable smartphone in the market,” since it outperforms Motorola's Moto G (3rd Gen) in every category, BLU claims.

“The Life One X blows the competition out of the water in all measurable features including CPU performance, Graphics, Memory, System, Battery and Web Performance. In addition, we are also coming in at a lower price point with better hardware,” said Samuel Ohev-Zion CEO of BLU Products.

BLU also published a comparative chart that shows the benchmark results of the Life One X and Moto G (3rd Gen) where its own smartphone outperforms Motorola's.

It's also worth mentioning that BLU Life One X is available for purchase via Amazon for $150 outright, but customers will also receive a leather flip view case and premium stereo headphones for free.

On top of that, for the next three days, anyone who purchases the Life One X on release will get an immediate rebate of $50 off, paying only $100 for the smartphone. The promotion runs from today and through December 12, while supplies last.

It comes with Lollipop, but Marshmallow is on the way

Moving on to specs, BLU Life One X comes equipped with a 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

Moreover, the smartphone sports a decent 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating with a curved arc edge design.

At the back, BLU Life One X packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera.

BLU's affordable handset comes with both 4G LTE and dual-SIM support. Last but not least, the One Life X is powered by a 2,900 mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, but it will be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow before the end of Q1 2016.
