It looks like BLU's smartphone business in the United States continues to flourish, even after the spyware debacle the company has faced earlier this month.

But security is a major topic for all Android devices, and while every handset maker claims its devices are 100% secure, no one can guarantee that your personal data won't end up on a server in China.

That's exactly what happened with those who purchased certain BLU smartphones, which were pre-installed with a monitoring software that was programmed to send user's private data to China.

Now, we can choose to believe that BLU Products didn't know that the third-party company that usually installs OTA software on many OEM's devices went rogue and decided to leave that piece of software on many BLU smartphones.

If the answer is yes, than you might be interested to know that BLU has just released yet another cheap Android smartphone in the United States, the Life Max.

As the name suggests, the phone was built around its generous battery, the rest of BLU Life Max's specs aren't impressive at all. According to BLU, the 3,700 mAh battery inside its newest smartphone can provide up to three days of regular use on a single charge.

BLU Life Max ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on board and sports a 5.5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution. On the inside, the smartphone packs a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD card).

Surprisingly, the Life Max comes with a fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM support, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front.

BLU Life Max is available for purchase via Amazon for just $119 outright, but it's currently out of stock. It's only available in blue color for the time being.
