14 DAY TRIAL // Here is something that we don't see every day. US-based handset maker BLU Productions has just announced the immediate availability of yet another Android smartphone, which is nothing out of the ordinary.
Dubbed BLU Studio 7.0 LTE, the smartphone's main selling point, as the name suggests, is the huge display and support for 4G data connection.
Unfortunately, the 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display supports HD (720p) resolution, which might look weird for many users.
The rest of the phone's specs suggest this is an entry-level device, which is why it's been priced at just $200 outright. BLU Studio 7.0 LTE is now available for purchase via Amazon, in different color options: Midnight Grey, Ceramic White, Rose Gold and Navy Blue.

BLU Studio 7.0 has been confirmed to come preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, but there's no telling whether or not the US company will provide an upgrade to Marshmallow in the coming months.
When it comes to hardware, the huge phablet is equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor inside, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.
On the back, the Studio 7.0 packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
“The market trend shows that the demand in larger screen smartphones is rising, as a direct result to the standard in a smartphone now approaching 5.5 inches, meaning the term phablet no longer applies to a broad range of devices in the 5.5 inch to 6.0 inch category.
