There's no doubt that BlackBerry is readying an Android smartphone featuring a slider form factor, but the question is whether or not the Canadian company will actually launch it.

According to the latest rumors, the so-called BlackBerry Venice will be launched sometime in November. The information comes via @evleaks, along with a brand-new press render of the slider.

A very similar picture was published early last month, but the new image shows the smartphone slide up, so there's no doubt that this will be a slider device.

It will sell at all major carriers in the US

Also, @evleaks claims that the BlackBerry Venice has already been confirmed for a November release at several major carriers in the United States such as AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless.

Once again, the image of the Venice shows the smartphone will come with several important apps and services, including Microsoft's Bing and Skype, but also Google Maps, Calendar and Hangouts.

As many BlackBerry fans know by now, the Venice will be powered by Android Lollipop operating system, but if the Canadian company decides to launch it in November, the smartphone might receive an Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade in a few months after its release.

Not many details on the phone's specs are available for the moment, but the latest hearsay claims the Venice will boast a 5.4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

It's also rumored to be packed with a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM and an 18-megapixel camera in the back. In the front there will be a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

Even though the Venice will be launched on the market in November, there's a slight chance that it will be unveiled much earlier.

However, we doubt that BlackBerry would launch the Venice early next month during IFA 2015 trade fair in Berlin, Germany.
