We have seen many leaked images of the upcoming DTEK60 from BlackBerry and we have a pretty good idea of what specs could be featured on the upcoming smartphone. But now, BlackBerry has listed the full list of specs for the DTEK60 and we have a feeling that the company didn't intend to do so.

The spec list was spotted by GSMArena and the page has the appendix “donotpublish” visible in the URL, which means that the information might not have been released intentionally. The interesting thing about this page is that it provides a specs comparison between the DTEK50 and the unannounced DTEK60, listing all the details about the latter and also including the features that the two devices have in common.

Therefore, we find out that the DTEK60 will be weighing 165 grams, compared to 135 grams for the DTEK50. The upcoming phone will also be larger and it will measure 153.9 x 75.4 x 7 mm. When it comes to the display, the DTEK60 will have a 5.5-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and 534ppi pixel density, compared to the 5.2-inch 1080p display on the DTEK50.

BlackBerry DTEK60 will have 4GB of RAM and SD821 SoC

Both smartphones run processors from Qualcomm, the DTEK60 will be featuring a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC, while the DTEK50 comes with a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor. RAM capacity has been upped on the DTEK60 to 4GB of RAM, compared to 3GB of RAM on the DTEK50.

The upcoming phone will have 32GB of internal memory and the option to expand to 2TB using a microSD card. Both of them come with USB Type-C ports and USB 2.0 support.

Battery capacity on the DTEK60 will reach 3,000mAh with Quick Charge 3.0, and user will get up to 24 hours of mixed battery use, according to the BlackBerry listing.

The handset will most likely run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, will come with pre-loaded BlackBerry applications, and will also feature a fingerprint scanner.

Rear camera capacity on the DTEK60 will reach 21MP with auto-focus, 4k recording, f/2.0 aperture and HDR. The front camera will have a capacity of 8MP with wide angle lens.

The DTEK60 shares its design and many specs with the recently announced TCL 950 smartphone, as the manufacturing company will also be the one to produce BlackBerry's next smartphone.
