Moreover, the smartphone will run an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2.0GHz coupled with 64-bit Adreno 506 graphics processing unit. It also has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. It will have a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor, 4k recording at 30 fps and f/2.0 aperture.

Physical QWERTY keyboard and USB Type-C port

The smartphone appears to have an 8MP camera in the front with 1080p video, while the battery capacity is 3,505mAh with Quick Charge 3.0 for charging the battery to 50% in just 36 minutes. BlackBerry KeyOne measures 149.3 x 72.5 x 9.4mm and weighs 180 grams.

The specs on the upcoming phone are for a mid-range device, but KeyOne’s main attraction is the physical QWERTY keyboard, which has customizable actions to each key and the ability to swipe on the keys or use the complete suite of BlackBerry features and messaging services. Users can associate a key to open apps or contacts, like B for the browser.

The US version of BlackBerry will most likely work at AT&T and T-Mobile, as well as other carriers. The product page also reveals that BlackBerry KeyOne will come with BlackBerry Hub, a tool for consolidating all essential messages and personal information in one secure place. The page didn’t reveal the price and availability for the upcoming phone; these details will be announced during the unveiling event.
