Developers claim it should be a version completely clean off bugs

blackPanther OS, a Hungarian Linux operating system which borrows features from other major OSes, has just reached version 11.1.

The blackPanther OS distribution is designed for use at school, home and work as it contains applications for all activities.

blackPanther OS 11.1 utilizes graphical configuration tools from Mandriva, the graphical user interface from Fedora and the driver management from Ubuntu.

Every year a new version is released. The previous stable version, 10.1, was available in January 2010. Here are the fixes and updates for the new stable blackPanther OS 11.1, codenamed Darkness:

· 10 official repositories with up to 10.000 packages are now available; · Firefox 6.x and XULRunner with NSS, NSP and dependent packages; · The install/live disc includes The GIMP again (version 2.7.3); · All the reported bugs from the Beta version have been fixed.
