As expected, Samsung Galaxy S8 has leaked in multiple pictures in the past few months, and new ones continue to surface on a daily basis. The latest batch of Galaxy S8 images surfaced today, showing off the black variant of the new flagship.

The pictures were posted on Chinese social network Weibo and show the upcoming smartphone from all angles, including its back side. The Galaxy S8 is expected to come in up to seven color variants, including gold, silver, bright and matte black, blue, orchid and pink.

The glossy black variant appears to be quite similar to iPhone 7’s Jet Black option, with a shiny look that doesn’t reveal the display corners when the screen is turned off. Fortunately, the images also show the back of the smartphone, with its main camera, LED flash, and relocated fingerprint scanner.

The unveil date is March 29

The images also show Samsung’s logo at the back of the device, while the front is left without any mentioning of the brand. It would be interesting to see if Samsung slaps its logo on the front panel, as it did with previous flagships.

There have been leaked images and case maker renders that showed models with and without such monikers on the front. We can’t say for sure if the images depict the 5.8-inch Galaxy S8 or the 6.2-inch Galaxy S8+, but we do know that the two smartphones will have roughly the same design.

The newest Samsung flagship is expected to arrive on March 29, while the device will be available for pre-order between April 7 and April 17 in Korea. Samsung and local carriers will hold a pre-launch event on April 18, for customers to test and buy the new device.

The new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be launched on April 28 in Canada, and we presume that it’s the same day when they will hit shelves in the US.
