Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 is set to be revealed during tomorrow's Galaxy Unpacked event in New York City, and while specs of the upcoming device have recently leaked online, there's still plenty of speculation on when the handset will be made available for purchase in various markets.

Some rumors have stated that pre-orders for the smartphone will start immediately after the unveiling event, with others pointing to August 19 as the day when the smartphone will go on sale in the US. Considering that the device is just a few hours away from its debut, retailers from the US are stocking up on Galaxy Note 7 smartphones and preparing the pre-order process.

It seems that one retailer was a bit too eager to start pre-orders, though. Best Buy briefly listed the Galaxy Note 7 on its website, but the page was taken down soon afterwards. Still, it did manage to catch the eye of the media, according to Phone Arena.

Best Buy could offer 256GB microSD or a Gear Fit 2

The Best Buy page simply read that the Galaxy Note 7 would be coming soon, but further details on the specs weren't provided. Anyway, the Note 7's specs did leak a few days ago, together with the smartphone's press renders. Word is that Best Buy could offer a 256GB microSD or a Gear Fit 2 upon purchasing the Note 7.

The Galaxy Note 7 is expected to come with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED QHD (2560 x 1440) display with curved side edges and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The handset could run Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor or Exynos 8890 in certain regions. It will also have 4GB of RAM, just like the Galaxy S7 series.

The phone should have the same camera capacity as on the Galaxy S7 series. Specifically, rear camera capacity should reach 12MP with f/1.7, optical stabilizer, while a front camera of 5MP should also be there. The Note 7 is expected to boast USB Type-C, a fingerprint scanner, and an iris scanner. The smartphone will draw power from a 3,500mAh battery with fast charging. It's also worth knowing that the handset could also be launched together with a new Gear VR.
