Battlefield Hardline is getting its second big downloadable content pack, called Robbery, in September and the development team at Visceral Games is ready to offer more details on The Docks map that will be included in the four new environments that are being added.

The official announcement says that gamers will be able to explore the big Oakland Port area and a massive freighter called the Nebuchadnezzar.

Visceral Games state, "A motivated gang of thieves is looking to score a bounty by stealing the ship’s manifest, and disrupt the Nebuchadnezzar’s alleged smuggling of illicit goods. The cops are lying in wait, hoping to catch the crooks in the act, but whose side are they really on?"

The developers say that this is a night map designed to allow players to battle both indoors and in open spaces.

There are areas where snipers can easily set up to control access to certain points on The Docks, and scout helicopters are also offered to those who want to have a better look at the positions of the enemy.

Cranes and containers can be tippled on The Docks, reshaping the map even as teams are trying to reach their objectives.

Robbery adds a new Squad Heist mode

The experience is designed to focus on cooperation between members of a Battlefield Hardline team, and on The Docks, it will take the action entirely inside the ship.

The other three maps that will be part of Robbery are called Break Point, Museum, and Precinct 7.

Fans of the shooter will also be able to use four new weapons and two extra gadgets, and teams will have to find ways to integrate new vehicles into their tactics for the various modes.

The DLC is generous and also introduces a range of cosmetic tweaks for characters.

Battlefield Hardline will first receive Robbery on September 2 for all those who have a Premium account for the video game, and the rest of the community will get the same content two weeks later.

There are two other DLC packs that are supposed to be launched for the shooter, and a full new Battlefield title is expected to arrive in 2016, according to financial data from Electronic Arts.
