Batman: Arkham Knight will go back on sale for the PC platform as well as receive a new comprehensive update at the end of the month, according to publisher Warner Bros., which confirms that it'll also bring alongside it all the DLC that's already been released on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

Batman: Arkham Knight arrived across PC, PS4 and Xbox One at the end of June, and while millions of franchise fans were pretty pleased with the latest adventures of the Caped Crusader, those on PC were treated to a shoddy version of the game with serious performance issues as well as many different bugs.

Things got so serious that Warner Bros. decided to suspend the game's sale until patches were released to solve the issues. The time frame for the fixes was supposed to conclude in August and then in September.

Arkham Knight gets its last major update at the end of October

Now, Warner Bros. confirms on the Steam page of the game that Batman: Arkham Knight will get its final major update for its PC version at the end of October. At the same time, it will also go back on sale, although it's unclear just how much the publisher will ask for it.

"As many of you know, we released a major patch for Batman: Arkham Knight PC a few weeks ago. While there were significant performance improvements made to the game, the teams are continuing to work on the additional updates that were outlined in our previous post. We expect these updates to be ready at the end of October, at which time the PC version will be made available for purchase," the studio explains.

What's more, at the same time, Warner Bros. and Rocksteady are also going to roll out all the downloadable content packs that have already been released for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Batman: Arkham Knight. These can be purchased standalone or via the Season Pass, which is also expected to go back on sale at the end of the month.

Unfortunately, no exact date has been given by the publisher, so it's unclear when exactly the update and the game will appear.
