Batman: Arkham Knight owners will be able to enjoy the promised Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC starting July 14. What's more, publisher Warner Bros. confirms that the PC version will go back on sale in "the coming weeks."

Batman: Arkham Knight launched last month across PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. While console users were treated to a great experience, the PC version was filled with major performance problems and issues, which eventually forced Warner Bros. to stop selling the game on PC altogether.

Batgirl DLC arrives later this month

While Rocksteady is working on fixing Arkham Knight on PC, Warner Bros. now confirms that the first expansion for the game, in the form of Batgirl: A Matter of Family, is going to start launching this month.

Before you get angry, the add-on is apparently coming from the Warner Bros. Montreal team, which previously handled Batman: Arkham Origins. The publisher emphasizes that all the other upcoming add-ons are coming from Rocksteady.

The actual DLC focuses, as its name suggests, on Batgirl, and offers for the first time in the history of the series the chance to control the vigilante. She embarks on a new story through a new location with multiple missions, side quests, and secrets, not to mention a hacking mini-game. There are also Dual Play sequences where she can team up with Robin to take out big groups of foes.

The Batgirl DLC for Arkham Knight launches for free to Season Pass owners on July 14. Regular users will be able to get it on July 21.

The PC version of Arkham Knight is coming soon

Warner Bros. also made a brief mention of the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight, confirming that it will be once again available for purchase "in the coming weeks."

No exact time frame was given, but it seems that Rocksteady's efforts to solve the performance issues are progressing rather well. Expect to hear new details soon enough.
