avast! Browser Cleanup is one of the apps that received updates today, so if you're one of the many users running it right now, make sure that you check for new versions as soon as possible.

AVAST Software hasn't provided too many details on what's new in this fresh build, but it's safe to assume that Avast! Browser Cleanup 9.0.0.224 includes bug fixes and performance improvements, so it's pretty clear that all those who have already installed the app should also deploy this update.

The feature lineup remains unchanged, so the app still works with the commonly used browsers on the market, such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome.

Support for the top Windows versions is also being offered, including Windows XP, which officially reached end of life on April 8, so Microsoft no longer rolls out updates and security patches. AVAST Software, however, is one of the companies that promised to keep updating its apps on Windows XP for at least two more years to make sure that everyone running this old platform is secure.

Overall, this is an update that should really come in handy for everyone trying to keep browsers clean, so download avast! Browser Cleanup 9.0.0.224 to see what's new.
