One of the largest tablets soon to be available on the market, Samsung Galaxy View, will make its debut in the US via AT&T.

The carrier has just confirmed it will offer the jumbo tablet for no less than $600 outright. However, customers will also have the option to purchase the Samsung Galaxy View for $0 down and $30 per month for 20 months with AT&T Tablet Installment Plan.

Potential customers will be able to grab the Galaxy View for $500 on two-year agreements. The tablet can also be added to a new or existing Mobile Share Value Plan for an additional $10 per month access charge.

Last but not least, for a limited time, customers that sign up for a new DIRECTV service (24-month agreement required) can buy the Samsung Galaxy View tablet for just $100, with a two-year agreement.

It's better combined with AT&T's DIRECTV service

Also, existing DIRECTV customers that activate a new line with a smartphone on AT&T Next can also get the Galaxy View for $100, with a two-year wireless agreement.

Samsung Galaxy View comes with a huge 18.4-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and 120ppi (pixel per inch).

It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box and includes a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7580 processor inside. Also, the tablet features a Mali-T720MP2 graphics processing unit, 2GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

At the back, the slate packs a modest 2.1-megapixel camera. Samsung Galaxy View features a non-removable 5,700 mAh battery under the hood and offers multiple connectivity options, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS and GLONASS.

“The Samsung Galaxy View is the best parts of a TV and tablet, designed with entertainment as its primary focus. We know our customers are watching video in ways they never used to, and with this tablet you can shift where and when content is consumed.

“No other Samsung device provides this combination of integrated entertainment experience and value,” said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Device Marketing and Developer Services, AT&T Mobility.
