Asus announced the Zenfone Selfie in early June during Computex 2015, but the company did not share any details on when we might expect the camera-centric phone to arrive on the market.

While we still don't know when exactly the smartphone might be making its debut on the market, it looks like the Zenfone Selfie has just been spotted at TENAA, a new report confirms.

This means that it shouldn't be too long until Asus puts it on sale, though there's a high chance that the Zenfone Selfie will only be available in China initially.

Anyway, Asus Zenfone Selfie seems to be the device that will replace the Zenfone Zoom, which was announced much earlier this year.

The Zenfone Zoom has been delayed due to complex issues with the manufacturing process, which is why Asus though it would be wise to replace a camera-centric phone with another one.

No word on pricing options yet

As many of you probably know by now, Asus Zenfone Selfie comes with dual 13-megapixel cameras, so no matter how you hold you smartphone in your hand you will always be able to take a good picture.

On the inside, the smartphone has been confirmed to pack a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit.

There will be 16GB of storage inside, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot. Also, the Zenfone Selfie sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 4 coating.

The phone's dual cameras feature dual-LED flash, laser autofocus and full HD (1080p) video recording, so you can be sure your pictures will look great.

It's also worth mentioning Asus Zenfone Selfie will ship with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, along with Zen UI on top.
