At the end of last month, ASUS unveiled the ZenFone 3 series during Computex, which was held in Taipei. ASUS revealed some true gems during the event, culminating with the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, which has powerful specs as well as a stunning design.

According to a report by ManilaShaker, ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe will be offered in the Philippines and other markets, like India, this August. However, the device won’t come with the Snapdragon 820 chipset, but with a more powerful one, the Snapdragon 823 SoC, which is expected on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 as well.

The chipset has a faster CPU with four Kryo cores clocked at 3GHz, compared to Snapdragon 820, which has a frequency of just 2.2GHz. Both chipsets have the same download speed of 600Mbps.

The ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe will reach select markets in August and have Gorilla Glass 4 on its 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display. The screen will have a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and will work at 386 ppi density.

The ZenFone 3 Deluxe should sell for the price of $499

Camera capabilities on the ZenFone 3 Deluxe are quite impressive, with 23MP on the back, as well as OIS and EIS, PDAF or HDR. The front facing camera on the flagship phone has 8MP and wide-angle lens. Battery capacity reaches 3,000mAh, and the smartphone comes with Quick Charge 3.0 for saving time when charging it.

The handset is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable memory. A microSD card of 128GB should be enough to cover additional storage needs.

On the front, the device sports a fingerprint scanner, and it runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with Zen 3.0 UI on top.

The ZenFone 3 Deluxe comes in multiple color options, like Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver, and Sand Gold. The smartphone has an estimated price of $499.
