The Zenfone 2 is one of the many high-end smartphones available on the market and it comes in different variants. The most expensive Asus Zenfone 2 packs no less than 128GB of internal memory and 4GB of RAM.
However, it looks like Asus is back with yet another Zenfone 2 version, which will be more expensive, but it will also offer better features than the 128GB model released a couple of months ago.
According to Brazilian blog Asusfanaticos, a new Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition smartphone has been officially unveiled by Asus.
The new smartphone will be available for purchase in Brazil beginning September, but details about its price are still a mystery for the moment.
The good news is the Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition comes with no less than 256GB of internal memory, along with 4GB of RAM.
It also packs microSD card slot (up to 128GB)
Aside from that, the smartphone also features microSD card slot for memory expansion, which will allow users to expand storage up to 128GB, so there will be plenty of internal memory for those owning the Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition.
It's unclear whether or not Asus will bring the Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition to other markets, but we believe that will be the case if the Taiwanese company wants to sell as many units as possible.
The rest of the phone's specs should be similar to those of the other Zenfone 2 models, which means the device will be equipped with a 64-bit 2.5GHz Intel Atom processor and a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.
It will also pack a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera coupled with a 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front. The special edition Zenfone 2 offers dual-SIM (dual-active) support and 4G LTE.
