ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 is one of the laptops that were introduced today at Computex, and this time, what we’re getting is a package that’s more aimed at gamers than at office users.

The VivoBook Pro 15 comes with a 15.6-inch display that features a 4K resolution (3840x2150 pixels), with ASUS explaining that it’s offering a set of extra features that you typically find on much more expensive devices, likely wide-view tech, anti-glare coating, and a wide 100 percent sRGB color gamut.

In terms of power, the laptop comes with a 7th Generation Intel Core i7 770HQ quad-core processor, obviously in the top-of-the-range configuration. This particular model can be paired with 16GB DDR4 RAM, while also featuring NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics for gaming. For storage, ASUS is offering a 2TB HDD and a 512GB SSD.

New cooling system

And that’s not all. Because the laptop is designed to run at full power all the time, ASUS also focused specifically on making it cool down as fast as possible.

As a result, the VivoBook Pro 15 features a dual-fan cooling system with a dual-copper thermal module and heat pipes, which according to the company “ensures the system stays cool during intense gaming sessions or under heavy loads.”

Because audio is critical during gaming, though we all know that gamers always prefer an advanced pair of headphones, ASUS also installed Harman Kardon-certified audio with twin speakers featuring 8cc audio chambers and amplifier for 3.2x louder volume.

And last but not least, to experience the full Windows 10 power, ASUS is also offering features specifically tailored for this OS, including a fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello.

All of these will become available this summer, with the most affordable version to be available from $799. Prices will go up as you add better hardware and full specs will be disclosed closer to retail launch.
