ASUS talked about its new ZenPad 8 tablet at Computex 2015 earlier this month, but now the company is showing off a smaller ZenPad model that arrives with a 7-inch display.

The slate has already popped up in a promo video which shows off the tablet’s major features. ASUS will be marketing the new ZenPad C 7.0 as an “all-around entertainment” device.

The tablet is expected to make a debut into retail bearing the Z170 model number, and as the video mentions, it will be affordable.

The ZenPad C will arrive with a 7-inch IPS display (unknown resolution, but we have to guess it’s 1,280 x 720 pixels) with ASUS’ own VisualMaster technology and wide viewing angles.

ASUS will offer two versions on the slate, one with a 5MP main camera and the other with a 2MP shooter located on the back. Both models will take advantage of a simple 0.3MP selfie camera.

The tablet will also bundle dual-SIM support and 3G capabilities for calling. ASUS plans to offer the device with an embossed leather pattern.

The slate is quite light and sleek, with a 8.4 mm / 0.33 inch profile, and breaks the scale at 265 g / 0.56 lbs.
