Just as expected, ASUS has launched the Zenfone 3 series during today’s Computex event, held in Taipei. The smartphones are quite stunning, with powerful components and a beautiful design. Zenfone 3 handsets have incredibly big displays and top-of-the-line specs.

During Computex, ASUS has launched three new smartphones in the Zenfone 3 series. All three models have metal cases, but quite different specs. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the flagship in the series, with an all-metal body and invisible antenna design. It has a strong and light aluminum alloy body and is 4.2mm thin.

The flagship comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and ultra-thin bezels with a 79% screen-to-body ratio. It incorporates a very powerful processor, Snapdragon 820 coupled with Adreno 530 graphics processing unit, and 6GB of RAM inside.

On the back, it features a rear camera with 23MP with Sony IMX318 image sensor, f/2.0 aperture lens, and 4-axis optical image stabilization for high resolution. It’s quite an impressive rear camera that would surely be a selling point.

Zenfone 3 Deluxe also comes with a built-in fingerprint sensor on the back, as well as Quick Charge 3.0 technology and USB 3.0 Type-C port. The device should sell for $499.

Zenfone 3 is the mainstream smartphone in the series

Another handset in the series is Zenfone 3, which comes with a smaller display of 5.5 inches, 1080p resolution, and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass coating for making the phone scratch-resistant.

It’s also equipped with a 16MP camera that includes autofocus, and it’s the first smartphone to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor that integrates X9 LTE Modem. Zenfone 3 also features 4GB of RAM and has a fingerprint sensor on the back for user authentication in just a fraction of a second. Battery capacity reaches 3,000mAh.

Zenfone 3 Ultra also comes with a 23MP rear camera

Last but not least, Zenfone 3 Ultra features a significantly larger screen than the other models in the series. It arrives with a 6.8-inch Full HD display with 1080p resolution, and it’s the first phone to boast ASUS’ Tru2Life+ Video technology, which incorporates a 4K UHD TV-grade image processor.

Unlike the other two models, it comes with full-metal unibody chassis, without antenna lines. It also packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor, Adreno 510 graphics, and up to 4GB of RAM. The Zenfone 3 Ultra has a powerful rear camera of 23MP and a battery capacity of 4600mAh, as well as Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Its price could reach $479 for 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.

Smartphones in the Zenfone 3 series will run Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box, but there’s no information on availability yet.
