After Acer, which launched several affordable Windows 10 devices, ASUS is revealing its new lineup for Computex 2016, this time going for products that are a little bit more expensive.

All these new devices are specifically built to take advantage of Windows 10 features, so they come with Windows Hello support thanks to the built-in camera or fingerprint reader. Microsoft and ASUS say that they were specifically designed to be light and thin so that you can use them both at the desk and on the go.

ASUS ZenBook 3

First and foremost, there’s the all-new ASUS ZenBook 3. Based on the successful ZenBook series, this new model is the thinnest new premium device, as it’s only half an inch thin (12.7 mm). It comes with several processor choices, but the most powerful is an Intel Core i7 version coupled with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage space on SSD.

It features a very narrow bezel that Microsoft claims is 18 percent thinner than the MacBook, and runs the full version of Windows 10 with support for the majority of features, including Windows Hello. A fast-charge system ensures no less than 60 percent of battery capacity in just 49 minutes, according to official specs, while providing full charge autonomy of 9 hours.

The ZenBook 3 will go on sale in the summer and will be priced starting from $999 (€899).

ASUS Transformer 3 Pro

The Transformer 3 Pro is, just like all the other models in the Transformer series, a detachable that allows you to use it either as a laptop or a tablet. It boasts a stylus called Active Pen and meant to make the most out of Windows Ink, which is a new feature coming in the Redstone update in the summer.

It’s also available with several hardware configurations, with the top being an Intel i7, 16GB of Ram, 1TB of SSD storage, and Thunderbolt 3. The keyboard and the pen are included in the package.

The new Transformer will go on sale in the summer too and will also cost $999 (€899) for the entry-level configuration.

ASUS Transformer 3

As compared to the Pro version, this 2-in-1 device features a backlit keyboard and a pen only offered as optional. In terms of processors, Microsoft says that it boasts the Intel 7th Generation Core processor, but not specifics have been provided.

It was also designed to be super thin and super light, so it weighs only 1.54 pounds (698 grams). It will go on sale together with the other models, but this time, pricing will start at $799 (€715).

ASUS Transformer Mini

As compared to all the models mentioned above, this device features a 10.1-inch screen and comes with a detachable keyboard with a smart hinge kickstand design, and is built on an aluminum chassis for super durability and low weight.

It also includes a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello and sports USB Type-C ports for easy charging and modern connectivity options. Pricing and all the other details will be available in the summer.

As you can see, some details such as screen size and specific configurations are not available at this point, but everything should be disclosed at Computex next month.
