The development team at Ubisoft working on Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is ready to deliver more details on the special Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy mission that will be part of the pre-order bonus for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate with a new video that centers on the two intellectual leaders of the Industrial Revolution.

Those who want to get access to the content will need to secure a copy of the title before it is launched at one of the participating stores or online.

Gamers can learn a few details about both Charles Darwin, who crafted the theory of evolution and scandalized the society he lived in, and Charles Dickens, the writer who created such masterpieces as Great Expectations and The Pickwick Papers.

The missions centered on the pair in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will have the player cross London in order to keep them safe from men who are trying to kill them in order to silence their voices or steal important secrets.

It's unclear whether Dickens and Darwin will play any other role in the core narrative of the video game.

It's very likely that the pre-order bonus missions will be offered as separate downloadable content for the game a while after it is launched.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate focuses on London and the Industrial Revolution

The next installment in the long-running franchise takes gamers to the capital of the British Empire just as it suffers the best and the worst effects of the changes in economy, society and political landscape that are linked to new tech and discoveries.

The main characters are Jacob Frye and his sister Evie, who are both members of a band that aims to cleanse London from the influence of Templars.

They can only do this by gaining the allegiance of other underground elements and by using a wide array of new combat moves in the biggest arena that Ubisoft has created so far for gamers.

Jacob will be a powerful brawler who can deal with multiple enemies at the same time, while Evie is a silent assassin who sticks to the shadow in order to down her opponents.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be launched on October 23 on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft, and those who want to play it on the PC will have to wait until the first months of next year.
