Ariana Grande is the latest celebrity that gets hacked, though this time no nude photos are involved and the attack is not part of the Fappening saga that impacted so many singers and actresses in the US and worldwide.

This time, hackers managed to take control of Ariana Grande’s Instagram account, and the attackers started posting racist and homophobic messages, while also threatening other American stars to breach their accounts.

While no hacking group or individual claimed the attack, the Instagram account is believed to have been breached by a fan of Selena Gomez and Kylie Jenner, as reported by clevver. The main evidence pointing in this regard is some of the messages posted by the hacker, who called for Ariana Grande fans to follow two different accounts whose profile picture showing the two stars.

Of course, this is just a guess, and at this point there is no confirmation that the attacker is a fan of a different celebrity or he only tried to boost the number of followers of his other accounts.

No nude photos were stolen this time

In addition to several racist posts, the hacker also published a photo reading “islah and never run the scene,” a message which Nicki Minaj commented on, leading to the hacker to threat her they could breach their account as well. “Talking about u next @nickiminaj,” the attacker posted.

Other than posting this inappropriate content, the hacker did no harm to Ariana Grande, and the 24-year-old singer managed to get control of the account shortly after, removing all messages and posting a GIF to show that it’s not upset she got hacked.

Ariana Grande, however, is no stranger to hackers, as the singer was a victim of the Fappening scandal that had the nude photos of a long list of celebrities being posted online. At that point, hackers leaked the pictures after getting access to iCloud account, though Ariana Grande denied the photos were real.

There’s not a single word as to how Ariana’s account was hacked, but most likely it was all because of a weak password or the celebrity falling victim to a phishing scam.
