Apple has updated their website (via MacRumors) for the Singapore and Hong Kong customers in regards to the upcoming launch of the Apple Watch Series 3 model with cellular connectivity.

Starting early next month, on February 2, 2018, customers in Hong Kong and Singapore will be able to purchase an Apple Watch Series 3 smartwatch with cellular (LTE) connectivity from Apple's online store, and the devices will ship on February 9, according to the official website.

While Hong Kong customers will have to pay HK$3,188 for the 38mm (Model A1889) and 42mm (Model A1891) LTE Apple Watch Series 3 models, Singapore customers must pay S$598 for the new smartwatch. Cellular connectivity will be provided by 1O1O and csl3 in Hong Kong, as well as with Singtel in Singapore.

Apple Watch Series 3 won't work in mainland China

Apple also noted the fact that the Apple Watch Series 3 models with cellular connectivity sold in Hong Hong has been optimized for use with mobile carriers in the country and won't work in mainland China to prevent Chinese customers from buying the device in Hong Kong in an attempt to use in China.

The LTE Apple Watch Series 3 devices are design by Apple to support LTE bands 1 (2100 MHz), 3 (1800 MHz), 5 (850 MHz), 7 (2600 MHz), 8 (900 MHz), 18 (800 MHz), 19 (800 MHz), 20 (800 DD), 26 (800 MHz), and UMTS bands 800 MHz, 850 MHz, 900 MHz, and 2100 MHz.

More details about the new features and improvements Apple implemented in the Apple Watch Series 3 smartwatch are available on the dedicated web pages for Hong Kong and Singapore customers, who will be able to purchase the device beginning February 2. All pre-orders will be shipped starting on February 9, 2018.
