Today, August 3, Apple began seeding the sixth Beta build of the forthcoming OS X 10.11 El Capitan computer operating system for Mac hardware to developers worldwide that are enrolled in the Apple Developer Program.

Today's Beta build of OS X 10.11 El Capitan is tagged as 15A244d and it is available for download directly from your Apple Developer account, in the Member Center section, or via the Mac App Store application for existing El Capitan users.

"This is a pre-release update to OS X v10.11. If you have OS X v10.11 installed, download this update by clicking Updates in the toolbar of the Mac App Store. If you do not have OS X 10.11 installed, use your download code on the Mac App Store to get started," reads the new OS X El Capitan 10.11 beta 6 entry posted by Apple.

There are no release notes at the moment of writing this article, so expect to see minimal visual enhancements, as Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan Beta 6 brings mostly under-the-hood improvements and addresses some of the bugs reported by users since the previous Beta version.
